During the world war II, Taj Mahal was attacked by Japanese Air Force in 1942. In 1965 and 1971 Taj Mahal was attacked by Pakistani bomber pilots during India-Pakistan war. Taj Mahal faced few environmental problem too. There was a Oil refining industry named “Mathura Oil Refinery” near Taj Mahal. This industry causes acid rain which turning Taj Mahal yellow. This industry was opposed by Supreme Court Of India. The water level of Yamuna river is decreasing around 5 feet In every year. In 2010 cracks appeared in few parts of the tomb.
